Ford launches new track-honed Fiesta ST Edition
Ford has introduced a new version of its popular Fiesta ST hatch which brings added performance.
Badged ‘Edition’, the new car is limited to just 300 examples in the UK. Tuned on the famous Nurburgring in order to deliver the most involving drive possible, it receives a variety of extra styling details and performance upgrades over the regular ST.
Two-way adjustable coilovers help lower the ride height by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear, while 12 bump settings and 16 rebound settings give a huge amount of suspension adjustability.
Other additions include 18-inch wheels which bring a two kilogram weight saving over the standard ST’s, as well as a Quaife limited-slip differential and selectable drive modes.
It’s powered by the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine as drives the standard ST. Thanks to 197bhp and 290Nm of torque, the ST Edition can go from 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds and top out at 143mph.
The standout Azure Blue paint is included as standard, while a variety of gloss and matte black trim pieces help the Edition to further turn heads. Inside, there are carbon-fibre-effect finishes as well as a leather-trimmed steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake.
Prices for the Fiesta ST Edition start from £27,075.
