Nissan reveals pricing and trims for new Qashqai

Nissan’s new Qashqai has hit the UK, with prices starting from £23,535.

The new third-generation car brings a range of enhancements, having been a consistent best-seller in the UK.

First deliveries are expected to commence this summer, with those who want to be the first to get their hands on a Qashqai able to purchase a Premiere Edition which is priced from £29,275 when coupled with a manual gearbox, or £31,795 with an automatic. Both use a 1.3-litre petrol engine.

This model also boasts a nine-inch infotainment screen, 12-inch instrument display and 10.8-inch head-up display. Nissan’s ProPilot part-autonomous system is included too, alongside LED Matrix headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels - among other features.

Five trim levels make up the regular Qashqai range - Visia, Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+. Each uses the same 1.3-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine with two power output choices, while four-wheel-drive is available on higher-spec trim levels.

Prices kick off at £23,535, which brings two-wheel-drive and 138bhp output for the engine. Move up to Acenta Premium and prices start from £26,135 for the same engine as base-level cars, or £26,855 for a more powerful 156bhp version.

Mid-spec N-Connecta models start from £28,305 and is the first model available with four-wheel-drive. They can only be optioned with the more powerful engine option, too, and can only be specified with an automatic gearbox.

Tekna models start at £30,845, while range-topping Tekna+ cars start at £34,175.

Andrew Humberstone, managing director of Nissan GB, said: “The Nissan Qashqai has been the best-seller in its class since 2007, and for good reason. Now with the arrival of the third generation model, Nissan is setting a new crossover standard for distinctive design, dynamic handling and advanced technologies, all at an accessible and attractive price point.”
