Both the 220i and 230i BMW 2 Series cars are based on a two-wheel drive design, with power from the rear. The M240i, on the other hand, uses all-wheel drive technology to assist with driving through any conditions.

There are several types of BMW 2 Series trims. These include the entry-level 220i petrol engine, the slightly more powerful 230i version, and a 2.0-litre diesel known as the 220d. The top-spec M240i boasts 369bhp, with a six-cylinder petrol engine.

The 2022 BMW 2 Series coupe earned a four-star Euro NCAP rating, scoring highly for the safety of adult and child occupants. You'll also find brilliant safety features on many of our used BMW 2 Series cars, including central locking, brake assist, and handy parking sensors.

To make the most of the fuel economy on a used BMW 2 Series, it's a good idea to drive smoothly and carefully. The 220i petrol offers 44mpg, which is economical enough for most city driving and commuting. For the long-haul drivers, choosing the 220d could fetch up to 60mpg.
