If you have ever driven a Mercedes-AMG car you know roughly what to expect and it’s always a really great experience, but I strongly feel this one has never really got the attention it deserves, but I guess Mercedes went with quality over quantity with this one, and you really can see why they took that approach. The build quality on this car is outstanding. The SL isn’t a car to be overlooked though. If you ever get a chance to have a look at one in person, don’t turn it down. You will not be disappointed.
The interior is a really nice place to be, the seats are pretty comfortable and pretty much every surface is covered in leather, carbon fibre or alcantara.
None of the looks really matter once you turn the car on though. I doubt you will even want to have the COMAND system on, you will only care about listening to that spectacular V8. Put your foot down and it will probably be the most fun you’ve had in a car since your teens.
