Yes, and we make sure they are. The second-hand market is massive now, so you can afford to be thorough during your search. Generally speaking, you'll be better off choosing a used car with fewer miles on the clock and a full service history. But every vehicle we sell undergoes a meticulous 200-point check before it reaches our sales floor. That means even used cars with higher mileages have been approved by our experts.
Do you have suitable used cars for families?
Our range of used cars extends from sporty saloons up to functional family models, such as SUVs, 4X4s, estates and more. Filter your search by number of seats or doors, body style, engine size and a range of other features to find the perfect family car for you.
Can I reserve a used car?
Yes, you can. To reserve your chosen vehicle, we place a temporary £99 hold on your credit or debit card. It's not a charge - just a security step to lock in your reservation. We'll hold the car for you for up to three days, giving you plenty of time to visit us for a viewing. Please note, you can only reserve the same vehicle once. If you need us to hold the car for longer, you can reserve it with a non-refundable £500 deposit. We'll remove it from our sales listings and prepare it for collection. This deposit must be paid in-store by debit card.
What's the difference between used cars and nearly new cars?
Nearly new cars are technically used cars, but they tend to be only a few months old with lower mileage. They've still got that new car feeling and haven't been used much, so they'll cost more than older cars. But you'll be able to avoid the price tag that comes with a brand-new model and get more for your money. We’re pleased to offer some of the best nearly new car deals on the market. Take a look and get your hands on a vehicle that hasn't even had its first MOT yet!
What used car finance options do you offer?
We offer two types of finance agreements at Big Motoring World:The most suitable agreement for you may depend on the availability and type of used car you're buying. The main difference is that you're guaranteed to own the vehicle at the end of an HP agreement, while you have the option to return the car with PCP. We recommend learning more about our finance options before choosing one. Feel free to call us if you have any questions. You can also use our car finance calculator to get a quote today.
Can I part-exchange my used car with Big Motoring World?
Yes! We know selling your car privately or with another company can be tricky. That's why we make it easy to sell your old car to us and use the value to cover some of the cost of your new purchase. We'll always give you a fair deal too! Enter your reg and mileage on our part-exchange page to instantly find out how much your used car is worth. We'll guarantee that price for 7 days and won't charge any transaction fees if you choose to trade in your car with us. The process couldn't be easier.
Do you have electric used cars for sale?
Yes, we have an extensive range of all-electric cars across our dealerships. We also have plenty of plug-in hybrid models if you're looking to take a smaller step towards EVs. Either of these options makes a brilliant choice if you're expecting to drive through London's Low Emission Zone or any other clean air zone regularly.
About Autotrader price labels
How to use our price labels
Autotrader have compared the asking price for this car with their Autotrader valuation, and given it a label. This tells you how the price of this car compares to the market price of other cars with similar qualities, including make, model, age and mileage. Our price labels are here to help you make an informed decision when buying your next car.
What does Lower price mean?
A 'lower price' label means this car is priced much lower than most other cars of a similar type in the UK right now. This could be due to a number of factors, and you can always ask the seller for more information about pricing if you're not sure.
Price labels we use
Yes! You might see any of these labels on our car adverts:
Lower price
Priced much lower than other similar cars on the market
Great price
Slightly cheaper than most other similar cars on the market
Good price
Priced very closely to other similar cars on the market
Fair price
Only slightly more expensive than most other similar cars on the market
Higher price
More expensive than most other similar cars on the market, but there may be some additional benefits
How do Autotrader work it out?
Autotrader use data from millions of vehicles to work out a car's current market price. This data includes things like:
Make
Model
Age
Fuel type
Optional extras and features
There are other things that are not included in how Autotrader work out their price labels, but these might affect the price:
The car's condition
The car's colour
Supply and demand in the local area
Special modifications (like a spoiler or body kit)
Extra services (like warranties and finance deals)
The number of owners
The car's service history
Spotted a car with no price label?
Not every car will have a price label, but there are lots of reasons why this might be. These reasons include if the car is:
Autotrader does not have enough similar vehicles listed to make a reliable comparison
The vehicle was recently added to our stock and the label is still being calculated
Autotrader has not yet provided updated metrics for that vehicle
Price labels are supplied by Autotrader and are not available for every car we sell
